I thought I'd start out with a festive photo. I toasted the New Year with Brian. We stayed home this year on account of my double ear infection and all. Despite all the drug warning labels, I still drank this glass of champagne. Take that UMC!
And, by the way, this will probably be the only beverage picture posted in 2007. The food pictures are enough.
I know you're all wondering how my first day went....
Breakfast:
I eat a lot of cereal, and you're going to have to accept that. I don't eat eggs. I don't have a lot of time in the morning. So, I eat cereal. Here we see a lovely bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios, with skim milk.
I also ate a huge orange
that looked beautiful but wasn't very good at all.

Lunch:
Leftovers! Brian and I cooked at home on New Year's Eve. And we had tons left over. So what are these beautiful snacks? There are two pieces of french bread with spinach dip, topped with pesto
After a lazy afternoon at home (you can see Brian playing Madden in the background of the close up), we actually decided to go out to the Sahara and play in the 7:00pm Poker Tournament. Our poker friends Randy and Nick came with us. None of us won any money, but at least we got to enjoy some free sandwiches....
Dinner?
It's hardly dinner, but it held me over till I busted out of the tournament..around 10:30. Then I enjoyed this
We debated whether or not the milkshake "counts" as food and had
I'm also including a freaky picture of Randy posing with my shake. A woman at a poker table actually believed he and I were twins.
So that's day one. Don't lecture me for eating ice cream for dinner.

I LOVE rice balls. Now I have to make them this week. If there was a store open in Cobble Hill right now (it's 4am, I have insomnia) I would run out an buy one. Great first post.
