Brian and I were supposed to "Race for the Cure" this morning, but parking was a nightmare! We were too late for the start of the Walk. (Don't worry, they had our donations!) So, we had to skip it. We then went to the South Coast and had a breakfast buffet.
We then placed a few small bets on the Kentucky Derby, that didn't pay off. I picked the horse that came in first, but I had combined the bet with another horse that didn't place. We were supposed to go to the San Genaro festival, but a casino employee told us that they charge admission, so we decided to skip that.
Then, unexpectedly, our friend Nick called and said he had free tickets for The Producers- one of David Hasselhoff's last performances! So, yes, we went.
First, dinner at the Bally's cafe.
The show. We really need to go to see more shows. The Leo Bloom guy was average, but Biallystock and the rest of the cast were really impressive. And, Hasselhoff perfectly overacted his role. We had a lot of laughs. And, it was free free free. Awesome. So the things we planned fell through, but something we didn't plan was fantastic. Go figure.
