March 13, 2007 - I wake up with a rumble in my tummy. I'm not sure what's up. I tried to eat a granola bar for breakfast, but I was pretty nauseous. For lunch, at work, we had a staff meeting, and I ate a few bites of the pizza and salad here. I started feeling just terrible, like I was going to yack everywhere. So, I went home. When I got home, I puked, and it turned out I had a fever of 101. I rested for a while, and Brian made me some soup and dry toast. Ugh, just revisiting these pictures makes me feel gross.
March 14, 2007 - I stayed home from work. I ate more soup. And, toast with peanut butter because I'm bored. My fever goes away, but my stomach hurts!
March 15, 2007 - I think I'm getting past it. I feel better, but I don't have much of an appetite. I ate some dry cereal, crackers, more soup, and rice for dinner.
March 16, 2007 - Back to work. My stomach still hurts, but not too nauseous. I'm afraid to eat too much so I go with more crackers, drink a smoothie (not food, not shown), and even try 2 mini cookies- the chocolate chip one is sugar free. For dinner, I ate cereal.
March 17, 2007 - The big relapse. I ate cereal in the morning because I think my stomach hurts from hunger. Big mistake. It comes right back up. I'm in pain, but manage to fall asleep, and ta da, when I wake up, I feel fine. Amazingly fine. Brian and I go and get our taxes done, and we pick up sandwiches for lunch. I actually eat mine and my chips! (Again, big mistake!) Brian's mom came in to town, so we went out to dinner to Bonjour Bistro. As soon as we get there, I start feeling very very sick. Worse than ever. I do my best to fake it for the restaurant and so Brian and his mom can enjoy themselves. I ate some bread, a few bites of this pear napoleon on a salad, 4 mussels, and two and a half fries. Then, ugh, I threw up in the restaurant bathroom. God awful. I feel like shit and crawl into bed.
March 18, 2007 - I more or less sleep all day. I reheated some leftover fries from last night. They are very tasty. They stay down. A piece of toast - good. Okay okay. We go out to dinner again. I eat bread, some mozzarella caprese, and a few bites of salad and gnocci. (Don't worry, I saved leftovers.)
So, who knows. Some of my coworkers were sick with the same sort of bug. But, it's passed now, thankfully.

March 12, 2007 - Dinner with Family
Breakfast- cereal and yogurt.Lunch- leftover tortellini and a piece of cake my coworker brought in.
For dinner, Brian and I met up with his uncle at the Italian restaurant in the Stratosphere, Fellini's. Like any good Italian relative, he encouraged us to eat. We got appetizers for the table- fried shrimp, ravioli, calamari, and mozzarella.
I ordered this vodka sauce pasta with shrimp and mushrooms. (I later thought this made me sick, but Brian ate the leftovers the next day with no effect.)
And, I couldn't resist this white chocolate raspberry cake. (Don't worry, the food gods get their revenge tomorrow.)

March 11, 2007 - Brunch with Friends
Parents of a close friend were in town and took us out to a brunch buffet at the Gold Coast Casino...
Lox, cream cheese, and onion on a croissant (I couldn't find the bagels!) , a chocolate waffle, and a blintz.
Salad, orange chicken, and a very so-so cheese enchilada- they didn't have crab legs.
And, I take it easy on dessert- one piece of chocolate fudge cake!
Dinner was tortellini and salad... for dessert a frozen mini Snickers bar, the best.

March 10, 2007 - Date Night
Cereal for Breakfast.
Brian and I made plans for the movies and dinner. So a little snack while he's at work... almonds.
Nasty "super" nachos at the Green Valley Ranch Theater. We went to see Zodiac which I enjoyed.
Then, for dinner, we ate at Balboa Pizza Company, a sort of Hawaiian-Surfer pizza place. We shared their house salad, chicken wings, and a pizza topped with artichokes.
They actually had a drink called a "Tequila Mockingbird." I had to take a picture of the cherry- it's food.

March 9, 2007 - A Little Italy...
Starbucks- but who's counting? Blueberry scone.
Snack- a certified transitional red delicious apple. (at least, that's what the bag said.)
Lunch- turkey and pesto sandwich and Doritos.
Dinner- an Italian feast! Mozzarella, Parmesan, bread, roasted peppers, sundried tomatoes, and artichoke salad.
Dessert- I shared this Tiramisu with Brian. It's wonderful. Lucky for us, there's an Italian deli (as close as we can get) right by our house.
