May 23, 2007 - It's Up to You, New York

We arrive in New York very early in the morning on Wednesday, and set up base camp at Ken's brownstone in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
No Starbucks in his neighborhood, but there is Dunkin Donuts. We don't have Dunkin Donuts in Las Vegas yet, but it's on its way.

For lunch, we headed into Astoria, where Brian used to work. We enjoyed lunch at Star Pizza, one of our favorites.

After lunch, we tried killing some time by going to the movies, only to find that the theater was only playing Shrek 3 and, I think Spider Man or some other summer movie. A 12 plex- only playing those 2 movies! We then tried visiting the Museum of Television and Radio, but we didn't remember its location. And, even when we found the Museum of the Moving Image instead, we decided not to pay the admission fee.
We headed back into Brooklyn, had a snack,

and then made dinner of quesadillas, chips, guacamole, and salad.

Ooh, dessert. After hearing many tales of the candy sundaes offered by Baskin Robbins (attached to the Dunkin Donuts on the corner), we decided to try one. This one is an M&M sundae, and as explained here, it's a huge mess of syrup.
